During the initial installation of the software, it asks you if you want to reboot the PC but if you select yes this actually closes the installer before it can complete the installation correctly and causes the error when you try and load it. I'm not sure if this works for every instance of this issue but for me, with a new device and a fresh install I was seeing this error and I can attest that it seems to be solved. I recently picked up the CP1500EPFCLED and when I initially installed the software I had the same problem with the "powerpanel personal service is not ready." After some digging, I found a post on a forum from a few years ago where someone who had the same problem found a solution. ![]()
